About Johnny WalkerJohnny Walker began life in Kilmarnock, Scotland, and from humble beginnings a great brand and dynasty was born. Walker left the family farm to follow his dream; it was not the “Dragons Den” he turned to but his own entrepreneurial skills. He traded in many different areas, tea being his speciality, and this is where he came up with the idea of blending whiskies to create a smooth drink of more consistent quality. And so a brand was born, one that is still going strong more than 150 years later.
