About Elin IsakssonElin Isaksson designs and makes hand-blown glass in her glass blowing studio in Alloa, Central Scotland. Elin has over 12 years experience of working with Scandinavian and European glass making techniques and her designs highly influenced by her Scandinavian background infused with her Scottish Master in Design training from Edinburgh College of Art. Elin currently works with 3 different glass making techniques; glassblowing, hot casting, and kiln casting - and can mix techniques making each item a unique piece. Inspiration is often drawn from Elin’s travels, ranging from the cold north of Sweden to the exotic Indonesia, and she is always intrigued by the play of light and the many textures in nature.
