Natalie Aird is a glass artist living and working in the Scottish Highlands.

Having studied graphic design then multimedia design and development her work has always been in the creative field, however as Natalie’s work became increasingly "virtual" she felt the need to return to a more physical creative process.

From the first time she worked with glass Natalie was captivated by its chameleon-like ability to transform with the light and it was this, combined with a lifelong passion for tangible, tactile objects that instantly hooked her to the medium of glass.

Natalie is influenced by the light and natural forms that surround her in the land, sea and sky; by the elemental forces of nature at work in the environment and their effect on objects, both man-made and natural.
