About Deborah PhillipsDeborah Phillips was born in Dundee in 1965. She graduated with BA (hons) from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1987 and became a merchandise designer with the National Trust for Scotland from 1988-1993, before becoming a merchandise controller with Historic Scotland from 1993-1996. Deborah professionally demonstrated art and craft materials for Edding Marabu from 1996-1998 and is currently the exhibitions' convenor with Dundee Art Society. Deborah has completed commissions for Wright Health Group, Dundee; Bank of Scotland, Edinburgh; Princess Ysenburg von Budingen; Marks and Spencer and Cairn Energy. Over the years Deborah has exhibited in many of the galleries in Scotland including Royal Scottish Academy; Torrance Gallery, Edinburgh; Gallery Heinzel, Aberdeen; Glamis Castle Gallery; Royal Glasgow Institute; Hanover Fine Art, Edinburgh and Eduardo Alessandro Studios, Dundee. Deborah has also exhibited in Thompson's Gallery, London and the Kensington Exhibition Centre in London.
