Ed Hunter
About Ed HunterEd Hunter was born in Glasgow and studied drawing and painting at Glasgow School of Art. Ed then went on to study life drawing at Strathclyde University. Ed Hunter has been a full time artist since 1993 and has exhibited in galleries across the UK, USA, Europe and Russia. His UK exhibitions have included The Royal Scottish Academy, Royal Glasgow Institute, The Macmillan at Kelvingrove and ING Bank London. Of his art work Ed says ‘I know the colours and tones I want to use, but the most important element to me is a respect for my subject and the urge to recreate the atmosphere which drew me to it to begin with.
