About Tobermory DistilleryTobermory Distillery, today the only distillery on the Isle of Mull, was originally founded in 1798 under the name Ledaig. The distillery ceased production during both the 1800s and the 1900 and was twice ‘revived’ during the 1970s. During these times the original buildings, which are still in use today, were used for purposes ranging from a power plant to storing cheeses. A recent revival in the 1990s allows us to continue to enjoy Tobermory Whisky once again.
